Reaching out for therapy takes a remarkable kind of self-awareness. So does returning, again and again, to the work of understanding yourself. This Journal is a space for that — a place to slow down and think out loud about the things that shape our inner lives.
What you'll find here
My hope is that these reflections feel less like clinical articles and more like a conversation. Some entries will explore a single idea; others will offer small, practical tools you can carry into your week. Topics will include:
- Relationships — the patterns we repeat, and how we gently change them
- Anxiety and stress — making sense of a nervous system doing its best
- Grief and loss — honoring what was, while making room for what's next
- Identity and transitions — finding yourself again after life shifts
A gentle reminder
Healing is rarely a straight line. Life doesn't follow a tidy path, and neither does the work of feeling like yourself again.
Nothing is more desirable than to be released from an affliction, but nothing is more frightening than to be divested of a crutch.
That tension — wanting change and fearing it at the same time — is one of the most human things there is. You don't have to resolve it before you begin. You only have to be willing to take the next small step.
If something here resonates and you'd like to talk, a free 15-minute consultation is always open to you.
